History of the Group

 

For many years, Cambridge had a well attended and popular OCD support group run by a local father and daughter affected by OCD. The group ran under a national mental health charity, however in time the members decided to become independent and operate as a peer led support group with the support of the charity OCD Action and its Even Better Together support group project.

 

The group have since moved venue to the Lifecraft Centre in Cambridge and two new facilitators have taken the reins. It remains a busy and popular OCD support group.

• The support group asks for a £2.00 voluntary donation to help pay for the venue and refreshments.

• There is a minimum age of 18.
